Patrick H. Ryan, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Health at the University of Cincinnati. An epidemiologist, Dr. Ryan’s research is focused on the assessment and impact of exposure to air pollution and ambient fibers on pulmonary health. His current research includes studies of childhood exposure to diesel exhaust particles and the development of asthma, analyses of the elemental composition of PM2.5, the impact of traffic-related air pollution at schools, and environmental exposure to asbestos-like fibers in North Dakota and Montana.
